Capstone – Project
Behavioral Health Programs Expansion & Optimization for Non-Profit
A Collaboration Between
Volunteers of America Ohio and Indiana is a $70 million non-profit agency that serves many impact areas including Behavioral Health. We deliver innovative, results-driven behavioral health services that is especially important as we tackle the opioid crisis. Latest data indicate Ohio was ranked 4th in the nation for opioid overdoses deaths with 30 people dying in every 100,000 and Indiana 16th with 18 in every 100,000.
Today, we offer comprehensive evidence-based addiction and mental health treatment through residential and outpatient programming in Indiana. All of our clinical staff, including licensed clinicians, are trauma-informed and provide tailored care to those who have experienced intense emotional trauma.
As a non- profit organization serving a population who face many barriers and may otherwise not have access to the treatment they need, funding and maintaining these programs sustainably can sometimes be a challenge. This project would help us understand deeper insights into our program and business models in order to strengthen our current service offerings as well as expand into our partner state Ohio. Key deliverables would include program outcome trends, process analysis, financial modelling, creative ideation and market research.
