Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has always been at the heart of student curricular and extracurricular activities at IACT College. Being practitioners of project-based learning, many of our class projects, particularly for the Public Relations and Mass Communication modules, involve some form of CSR and we have worked with a number of local and international organisations such as:- Ikigai (Apr-Jul 2019) – More Than Thirty: Cut the plastic before it gets drastic
- Students worked with Nomads Surfing (France), Klima Action Malaysia (KAMY), Save Sea Animals from Extinction (SAFE), Small Changes & Charisma Movement. Students initiated multiple CSR activities that included a straw-less campaign with the food vendors on campus, beach clean ups in Cherating, and a fundraising event that comprises of a sculpture exhibition, talks, performances and several interactive sessions that engage the public.
- The New Nrml (Apr-Jul 2020)
- Students conducted live streams on Facebook weekly, with topics ranging from fun activities to do during MCO as well as more serious topics like Dealing with Anxiety. The entire project's aim was to raise funds for Pertiwi Soup Kitchen for MIRM under BAC Education Group.
- Institute Onn Jaafar
- Students help the institute provide free breakfast for disabled children, the homeless and the underprivileged in various locations in Klang Valley every Wednesday for duration of their semester. In one semester, we collaborated with the Radio & TV Broadcasting class in which students produced short news-reporting production of the Jom Breakfast campaign. In another semester, our collaboration added another organisation: The Spastic Children Centre (https://scasft.org/). The students conducted arts and craft classes as well as mini performances for and with the children of the Centre.
- Great Heart Charity Association
- Students spend the whole semester at different activities and events organised by the association such as data collection through interviews with the B40 households, donation drives, fundraising events, and helping them with taking photos and making videos of the events. A notable campaign the students have volunteered for is the Earth Warriors programme.

Students are well versed in the creation and development of product design and packaging. Modules offered in our various courses equip students with the design skills as well as the strategic thinking when developing the various product designs and packaging.Modules such as Packaging Design and Professional Portfolio & Exhibition under Diploma in Graphic Design as well, such is Visual Communication, where the students will be tasked to package a music album, menu, stationary design, food packaging, special edition game boxes and even books are amongst the many packaging concepts and designs that have been developed by our students and promote it to today’s market.
